If Someone Had Loved You
03:25
|
|||
Your corner always looks the same
Will you ever feel the shame?
It's gonna be a long old night tonight.
Short skirt on and shave your legs,
don't know where you're gonna end up;
it's gonna be a busy old night tonight.
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
Put your hair up out your face,
not a single ounce of grace,
gonna seem a tough old night tonight.
Shirt and tie now don't be shy,
don't be scared to wave goodbye
to your dignity and poise tonight.
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out so bad?
Someone ought to let you know
nearly all of you's on show
gonna get a busy old night tonight.
Be fast so you don't waste your own time,
have a little cry and maybe wine.
Will you ever get home tonight?
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
If someone had loved you,
would you've turned out would you've turned out so bad?
Would you've turned out so bad?

Doll House
04:18
|
|||
We crushed our sister's doll house
and fought it out between us for the spoils.
We fought over nothing and crushed it down beneath us for the spoils.
We sent in the plastic soldiers,
knocked them down with catapults.
The greens against the greys;
our side always won.
We sent in the plastic army men,
knocked them down with catapults.
Us against the world;
our side always won.
Our side always won
We're handing out the guns
We're sending out your sons
Our side always won.
We fought battles on the chessboard,
bishops stuck on coloured ground.
The king is never taken
with the pawns on the front line.

Ray Bans
03:03
|
|||
When you're not quite feeling right
and the sunlight is just too bright
they hide the light away
until you feel okay.
Ray Bans hide a hangover like nothing else,
droopy-eyed, headache-ridden drop-out.
Gets tiring don't it boy?
She used you as if you were a toy.
But when will you learn
you can't spend more than you earn?
Ray Bans hide a hangover like nothing else,
droopy-eyed headache-ridden drop-out.
Go on child, about your way;
take your time to forget about your day.
I'm sure you'll find a way.
You'll find a way.
Ray bans hide a hangover like nothing else,
droopy-eyed, headache-ridden drop-out.
Go on child about your way;
take your time to forget about your day.
I'm sure you'll find a way.
You'll find a way to forget about your day.

Somewhere Out There
03:27
|
|||
We wake at six in the morning,
we're going down for some ice cream.
Sitting on the beach with wind in our hair
and everything is what it seems.
Walks in the light of the evening,
we're strolling in the summer breeze.
You'd take me into surf shops to show me what you want,
which was everything that you could see.
Somewhere out there there is a cabin beyond the sea,
with sun hitting cliff tops and waves lapping the shore
just for you and me.
We went on walks round Tintagel,
it seemed familiar to me.
Last time I found beauty there,
but this time it was here with me.
Walking round I felt so very proud
to be seen with you and hold your hand.
You took me in the sea and got me soaking wet,
my shoes were getting full of sand.
Somewhere out there there is a cabin beyond the sea,
with sun hitting cliff tops and waves lapping the shore
just for you and me.

Rain Keeps Falling
04:50
|
|||
It's not the same when the rain keeps falling
Grey roses burn, my life's overgrowing
Walks in the park with the wind a-blowing
your hair in the breeze
Blossom on your lashes
While my heart it crashes
Fruits of your loving
I don't want an ending
You paint my mind, please don't stop drawing
I wish I'd wake up with you in the morning
It burns inside with the love I'm showing
But now you've changed, your love is showing
Paint your eyes in the sky
Blossom on your lashes
While my heart it crashes
Fruits of your loving
I don't want an ending, no
It's not the same when the rain keeps falling
Grey roses burn, my love's overgrowing
Walks in the park where the wind is blowing
your hair in the breeze.
It's not the same.
It's not the same (when the rain keeps falling)
It's not the same (when the rain keeps falling)
It's not the same (when the rain keeps falling, falling)
It's not the same.
